Aharon Haliva Admits Failure:

GAZA August 22. 2024 (Saba) - Aharon Haliva, the outgoing head of the Intelligence Division of the Zionist enemy army "Aman," has openly admitted his failure in the wake of the October 7th events, reflecting on the incident, Haliva stated, "I will carry the bitterness of October 7th for the rest of my life."

Haliva acknowledged that the intelligence division failed in its mission on that day, saying, "We did not succeed in our mission on October 7th to provide a warning for war."

He added that his resignation is a step toward taking the expected responsibility for the shortcomings.

In his statement, Haliva took full responsibility for the failure of "Aman" during the events of October 7th and emphasized the ongoing need for a strong army and intelligence division as the conflict continues to expand.

He also called for the formation of an official investigation committee to determine the causes of the war and to prevent a recurrence of such failures.

The resignation of Haliva, one of the first senior Zionist military figures to step down due to the failures of the October 7th "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation, marks a significant moment in the aftermath of the incident. His duties officially ended today, Wednesday, four months after he announced his resignation.
