
NEW DELHI August 22. 2024 (Saba) - Indian authorities on Thursday declared an emergency at Trivandrum International Airport in Kerala following a bomb threat on an Air India flight from Mumbai.
According to sources at Trivandrum Airport, the plane, carrying 135 passengers, landed safely at approximately 8:00 am local time on Thursday.
All passengers were promptly evacuated and moved to an isolated area after the pilot reported a bomb threat as the aircraft approached the airport.
The incident did not disrupt operations at the airport, and authorities are currently investigating the source of the threat.
