MOSCOW August 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday, that 28 Ukrainian drones were shot down, which tried to target several provinces in the country.
In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry said that "last night, 13 drones were shot down over the Volgograd province, seven drones over Rostov, four others over Belgorod, two over Voronezh, and one each in Bryansk and Kursk."
Earlier today, Volgograd authorities reported the destruction of most of the drones that attacked the province's territory in the Marinovka area last night, adding that the fall of one of the drones caused a fire at a site belonging to the Ministry of Defense, without causing any casualties.
