JERICHO August 22. 2024 (Saba) - Extremist settlers on Thursday established a new settlement outpost near the Auja spring, north of the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Bedouin rights organization Al-Baydar, said that settlers had set up a settlement outpost near Ain al-Auja, 150 meters away.
He pointed out that there is an increase in the number of pastoral colonial hotspots in the Jordan Valley, in addition to the increase in the frequency of attacks against the neighboring Bedouin population.
