ARIZONA August 22.2024 (Saba) - Hundreds of members of the Democratic Party from the US state of Arizona called on President Joe Biden and Vice President Camilla Harris to impose an immediate ban on the export of weapons to the Zionist enemy, until there is a permanent ceasefire, and an end to repeated violations of human rights in Palestine.
In their letter, the members called for the full authority of the U.S. government to secure a permanent ceasefire agreement immediately.
For the fourth consecutive day, protests continue with the participation of thousands of human rights and humanitarian organizations, leftist associations, labor and student unions in the vicinity of the United Center, the venue of the party's national conference, to pressure for urgent intervention to stop the war in Gaza and provide urgent assistance to the Palestinians in the Strip, after their humanitarian suffering has worsened significantly.
