
SANA'A August 24. 2024 (Saba) - The emergency teams of the Executive Unit for Projects in Sana'a Province continue to implement work to treat the damage caused by floods resulting from heavy rains during Thursday and Friday in the New Sana'a Directorate.
The Acting Director of the Executive Unit, Engineer Sami Al-Turabi, explained that the teams, with the available capabilities, removed the waste and cleaned the water drainage channel on Al-Khamasin Street in front of Sama Mall, pumped water from the damaged houses and neighborhoods, and built canals to drain the accumulated water from the streets in Al-Shabab neighborhood.
On the Thirtieth and Fortieth Streets, the accumulated water was pumped and a channel was made for it to exit to the main street, and sedimentary materials and fallen stones were removed and the roads leading to the inside of the village of Haml and the adjacent isolation were opened.
Engineer Al-Turabi appreciated the interest of the Province leadership , its keenness to overcome the difficulties facing the executive unit and provide the capabilities to reduce the damage caused by floods, noting the cooperation of all service offices in the province in this regard.
