Scientific symposium accompanying first Yemen’s Khairat Festival's activities begin

SANA'A August 25. 2024 (Saba) - A scientific symposium was held in Sana'a on "Climate Change and its Impact on Agricultural Crops" as part of the first Khairat Al-Yemen Festival's activities for Pomegranates, Apples, Grapes and Dates, which is being held at the Sana'a Unity Club.

A group of academics specialized in the agricultural field, from Sana'a, Al-Bayda and Amran universities, the Agricultural Engineers Association and the Financing Unit, will participate in the scientific symposiums that will be held on the sidelines of the festival's activities throughout the week, which is organized by the Capital Secretariat, represented by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The second research paper reviewed "Techniques for managing grape diseases used in Yemen and prospects for developing them under climate change conditions" by Dr. Abdul Warith Al-Munifi from Al-Bayda University .

Dr. Al-Nazari explained that a scientific symposium will be held tomorrow, Monday, to discuss the most important diseases affecting pomegranate trees in Yemen and ways to treat them, in addition to agricultural guidance , awareness activities and events within the activities of the first Yemen's Khairat Festival.
