LONDON August 25. 2024 (Saba) - Liverpool achieved their second consecutive victory in the English Premier League by beating their guest Brentford 2-0 on Sunday evening, in the second round of the competition.
Colombian Luis Diaz scored Liverpool's first goal in the 13th minute, and Egyptian Mohamed Salah scored the second goal in the 70th minute.
With this victory, Liverpool's tally rose to six points from two matches, occupying fourth place on goal difference behind Manchester City, Brighton and Arsenal, while Brentford's tally froze at three points in tenth place.
