KUWAIT August 25. 2024 (Saba) -The Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued on Sunday an Amiri decree amending the appointment of a number of ministers and the appointment of other ministers in the government of Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The Kuwait News Agency said that the Amiri decree stipulated in its first article the appointment of Abdul Rahman Baddah Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi to become Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Noura Mohamed Khaled Al-Mashaan as Minister of Public Works, and Omar Saud Abdul Aziz Al-Omar Minister of State for Communications Affairs.
The decree also included the appointment of Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Mahmoud Boushahri as minister of electricity, water and renewable energy, and the likes of Hadi Hayef al-Huwailah as minister of social affairs, family affairs and childhood.
In its second article, the decree appointed Khalifa Abdullah Dahi Al-Ajeel Al-Askar as Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Abdullatif Hamed Hamad Al-Mishari as Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs.
It was also decided to appoint Nader Abdullah Mohamed Al-Jalal as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Education, and Noura Suleiman Salem Al-Fassam as Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.
