TOKYO August 27. 2024 (Saba) - The performance of the major Japanese stock indices on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was mixed during the morning session on Tuesday.
According to Japanese media, the benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 54.60 points, or 0.14 percent, to 38,055.62 at the end of the morning session.
While the broader Topix index added 8.43 points, or 0.32 percent, to 2,669.84.
