MOSCOW August 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that approximately 35 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated in a high-precision missile strike in Sumy Province, Ukraine, which borders the Russian Kursk Province.
According to Sputnik Agency, the ministry stated that Russian reconnaissance identified a temporary deployment point for the 3rd Air Assault Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Chernyshyn, located 30 kilometers southeast of Sumy. After verifying the target, a decision was made to strike the facility.
The ministry's statement indicated that the missile strike successfully destroyed two trucks, two off-road vehicles, a personnel transport bus, and resulted in the elimination of up to 35 Ukrainian soldiers.
