JERICHO September 02. 2024 (Saba) - Today, Monday, the bulldozers of the Zionist enemy forces demolished a house in the village of Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta, west of the city of Jericho.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, said that the occupation forces stormed the village and demolished a house belonging to the citizen Ahmed Ali Al-Dhalam, with an area of 100 square meters, under the pretext of not having a license.
Since the beginning of the occupation's comprehensive aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank last October, and in parallel with the unprecedented destruction of homes, buildings and facilities in the Strip, the demolition of citizens' homes has escalated, especially in the area called (C), which constitutes about 60% of the area of the West Bank.
Data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission show that the occupation authorities carried out 62 demolition operations during the month of August, affecting 78 facilities, including 36 inhabited homes, eight uninhabited ones, and 13 agricultural and other facilities.
They also notified 74 other homes and facilities of demolition.
