Bayda commemorates Prophet's birth anniversary with emphasis on faith, justice

BAYDA September 07. 2024 (Saba) — Bayda city celebrated on Saturday the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth today with a speech event that underscored the significance of the occasion amid current challenges faced by the Islamic nation.

The event, held by the local council, was attended by Bayda governor Abdullah Idris, attorney General Dr. Mohammed al-Dailami, and other local officials including the governor’s undersecretaries Abdullah al-Jamali and Saleh al-Mansouri, and the director of Bayda city district, Ahmed al-Rasas.

Dr. al-Dailami delivered a key speech highlighting the importance of commemorating the Prophet’s birth as a reaffirmation of faith and values.

He emphasized that celebrating this occasion serves as a reminder of the guidance provided by the Prophet, which is crucial in a time when the Islamic nation faces numerous challenges and insults to its symbols.

Dr. al-Dailami praised the deep connection between the Yemeni people and the Prophet, noting that this celebration reflects the respect and reverence held for him in Yemeni society.

He stressed that honoring the Prophet's birth is a powerful statement against injustice and tyranny, especially in light of the ongoing struggles faced by Palestinians.

Ahmed al-Rasas highlighted the importance of the event in reinforcing Islamic principles and values amidst the current exceptional circumstances affecting Yemen and the broader Arab and Islamic world.

He called for steadfastness on the path of justice and truth as exemplified by the Prophet.

The commemoration served as both a tribute to the Prophet Muhammad and a call for continued faith and resilience in the face of enemies.
