HAJJAH September 07. 2024 (Saba) — An expansive meeting was convened on Saturday in al-Mahabisha district of Hajjah province to prepare for the central events commemorating the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
The meeting was attended by key figures including Hajjah governor Hilal al-Sufi, Maj. Gen. Aqil al-Shami, Commander of the Victory Brigades, Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Yemeni News Agency Saba, and Dhaif Allah al-Shami, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah.
Dhaif Allah al-Shami emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birth as a reflection of the deep connection between Yemenis and the Prophet.
Al-Shami highlighted the transformative impact of the Prophet's message, which led people out of ignorance and into enlightenment and justice.
Nasr al-Din Amer underscored the leadership’s commitment to celebrating the occasion with unprecedented enthusiasm this year. He stressed the importance of organizing preparatory activities and major events on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal, aiming to showcase Yemen’s steadfastness and support for the Palestinian cause.
Abdullah Shaim, Director of the General Authority for Endowments in Hodeidah, noted the distinctiveness of al-Mahabisha’s celebrations, underscoring the region's historical and spiritual connection to the Prophet Muhammad.
He reflected on the special role of Yemenis in supporting the Prophet and their ongoing dedication to his teachings and the broader cause of justice.
