Second free medical camp named 'Great Prophet' has been inaugurated in Bani Al-Harith district of Sana'a City​

SANAA-SABA: Today, the Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Abdul Karim Shaiban, along with the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Murtada, inaugurated the second free medical camp of the Great Prophet, organized by the Model Police Hospital in the Bani Al-Harith District of the capital, Sana'a.

During the inauguration, the Minister of Health emphasized the significance of setting up free medical camps to mitigate the hardships faced by patients amidst aggression and blockade. He regarded this camp as a form of celebration for the Prophet's birthday anniversary, reflecting his legacy of charitable acts and assistance to the needy and ailing.

The Deputy Minister of Interior commended the Model Police Hospital for organizing this medical camp, the second such initiative coinciding with the celebration of the Prophet's birthday. This effort aligns with the Leader of the Revolution's directives to amplify charitable acts and foster social solidarity.

During the inauguration, attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Financial and Human Resources Sectors, Major General Ali Salem Al-Saifi, Security and Intelligence Major General Ali Hussein Al-Houthi, and Director of Public Funds Investigations, Brigadier General Yousef Al-Qasimi, there was a call for all hospitals to establish free medical camps. This initiative aims to ease the suffering of the ill and assist the poor and needy, following the example and path of the Great Prophet.

The Director of the Model Police Hospital, Brigadier General Dr. Fahd Al-Madoumi, has stated that the camp's objective is to conduct examinations for six to ten thousand cases across various specialties including internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, urology, and surgeries related to the bowel and skin. He emphasized that the camp will carry out 500 distinct surgical procedures.
