DHAMAR - SABA: Dhamar province on Thursday marked the occasion of the Prophet's birthday with a series of events honoring the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.
PhD students from Dhamar University, in collaboration with the Center for Economic Consulting and Administrative Training, held a scientific symposium titled "The Muhammadan Leadership in Governance and Sustainable Development." Dhamar Governor Mohammed Nasser Al-Bukhaiti highlighted the significance of the symposium in reflecting on the Prophet's leadership and its impact on governance and development.
The symposium explored topics including the ethics of Muhammadan leadership, sustainable development from an Islamic perspective, and effective leadership models inspired by the Prophet.
Additionally, the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority branch organized a cultural event, emphasizing the importance of reflecting on the Prophet's teachings. The University of Guinness and the University Student Forum hosted a speech event and cultural competition focused on the Prophet’s biography.
The Cultural Sector, along with the Al-Bardouni Public Library and the Popular Poets Association, conducted a poetry morning celebrating the Prophet through classical and popular poetry.
An awareness workshop was also held for health sector female cadres, encouraging participation in the central celebrations.
