The local authority of Socotra province organized on Thursday a speech event on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's birth anniversary (PBUH).
At the event, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development Nasser Al-Mihdhar, the governors of Hadramawt Luqman Baras and Al-Mahra Al-Qutabi Al-Faraji, and a number of members of the parliament , Shura Council and local leaders, Socotra Governor Hashim Al-Saqtari emphasized the importance of celebrating and rejoicing the God's best creation birth anniversary and the savior of people from darkness to light, Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.
Socotra governor called for mobilization and wide participation in the central event on Sunday to send a message to the whole world that Yemenis love their prophet and adhere to his path.
For his part, Undersecretary of the Administration, Local and Rural Development Ministry Jamal Al-Alawi emphasized the importance of celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's birth (peace be upon him and his family) in praise and thanksgiving for this great blessing.
He pointed out that Yemenis were the first to celebrate the Holy Prophet's birth, they were the first to support him , follow his guidance and example. He praised the efforts of the local authority's leadership of Socotra province in organizing this event.
