Protests in Australia continue for second day against arming Zionist entity

SYDNEY - SABA :
Protests against the Zionist genocidal war on Gaza Strip continued outside a defense exhibition in Australia for the second day in a row, following the arrest of dozens of protesters and clashes between police and demonstrators on Wednesday.

Australian media sources reported today that tens of thousands of anti-war protesters staged the largest demonstration in recent years around the site of the Defense Industries Exhibition in the city of Melbourne. Demanding that Australia stop arms sales to Israel and end the war on Gaza

Australian Victoria Police Chief Shane Patton said: Protesters set fire to streets , some workplaces and damaged public transportation. He added: 24 police officers were injured as a result of the attacks.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said: People have the right to protest, but they must do so peacefully, while the left-wing Greens party called for an independent investigation into the actions of the police.

About a thousand organizations from 31 countries are participating in the exhibition, organizers said: "It is the largest defense exhibition in Australia. The three-day exhibition concludes on Friday.
