BEIRUT - SABA: Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, declared on Saturday that the war in Gaza must end for settlers to return to northern areas.
Speaking on Saturday, Qassem stated that Hezbollah's support for the Gaza conflict will persist as long as the aggression continues and dismissed fears of a potential war with Lebanon.
He warned that an escalation would only lead to increased displacement and losses on both sides.
Qassem also confirmed reports of a recent Hezbollah operation involving drones, which resulted in significant Israeli casualties.
He criticized Israel for imposing a media blackout on the operation and speculated that high-level resignations within the Israeli military might be an attempt to cover up the failure.
