LONDON - Saba: 'Jewish Chronicle' has asked its followers' pardon for publishing a fabricated report on Yahiya al-Sinwar, leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement, noting that the report was written by a reporter who served as commando soldier during 'Antibi' offensive.
The British paper said it carried out an internal investigation, and found that the reporter (Elion Berry) had published a fully-falsified report, that Sinwar planned to escape with some Israeli prisoner to Iran via Philadelphia axis.
The résumé presented by Berry as a journalist is suspicious, the paper added, after omitting all the stories written by the alleged reporter.
