SANA'A - SABA: Despite the great pain and sorrow and in light of the genocidal war waged by the Zionist enemy on the Gaza Strip for nearly a year. The residents of the Gaza Strip did not neglect to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday peace be upon him.

This year's anniversary of the Prophet's birthday comes at a time when the Palestinian people are suffering from great Zionist-American aggression, and the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are facing genocide amid the silence of the whole world in the face of this tragedy that has been going on for nearly a year.

The war, rockets, shelling and continuous Zionist fire did not prevent the Palestinians from celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the master of mankind, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as the displaced gathered inside tents and celebrated the anniversary, despite the absence of manifestations of joy and joy due to the genocidal war waged by the enemy army against the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

On this day every year, Muslims in different countries of the world commemorate the Prophet's birthday in different but spiritually similar ways, filled with tranquility and comfort in the fresh sounds and invocations of the praisers and the tambourine that gives a beautiful musical luster that draws the attention of the attendees.

In the Gaza Strip, the commemoration of this anniversary this year differs from the rest of the world, despite the tragedies and pains, some streets, homes, and educational institutions are decorated and the smells of sweets and cakes begin to emerge with the sounds of religious songs that mimic the stories of the Prophet Muhammad and his family, while some of them express his celebration through social networking sites, which begin to buzz with prayers for him and publish pictures of the celebrations.

The praise of the Prophet is one of the most important events carried out by everyone to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and his family, peace, and blessings be upon him, and this event is for Islamic teams that are through homes, institutions, or even in public or main places in different areas of the Gaza Strip, and everyone participates in these events.

On this day, Palestinian citizens buy sweets from the shops specialized in them, to be distributed to passers-by in markets and squares where the praise of the Prophet is held, or to relatives and visitors to homes.

This anniversary is also a joy and love for children, so educational schools reflect this matter through education and activities within schools such as awareness and reading in the biography of the Prophet, this day is very special and reflects joy and role models for children and students.

Another festive aspect is the activity of Islamic chanting bands and Sufi music with a distinctive robe on this day and the following or before.

In particular, the people of Gaza celebrated the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday by singing religious poems, including "Eh Al-Amal, Ahmed", "The Moon of the Prophet" and other poems and songs.

In Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and inside a displacement tent, hundreds of women and children celebrated the Prophet's birthday. The video showed children and women shouting religious songs and smiles on their faces despite the sounds of continuous Zionist bombardment and the humming of non-stop drones.

On Wednesday, schools and kindergartens in the Gaza Strip commemorated the Prophet's birthday, which falls on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal according to the Hijri calendar of each year, and the revival activities included educational, artistic, and chanting activities and paragraphs, as well as the launch of a school for an initiative that revives the Prophet's Sunnah.

Al-Zahraa Secondary School for Girls in Gaza City organized a cultural event, which concluded with the distribution of sweets to the students and symbolic gifts. The school's principal, Faida al-Issa, said in a statement posted on the school's Facebook page: "This celebration comes as an expression of love for the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace."

The statement pointed out that the commemoration of this anniversary comes within the "program to promote Islamic values in the hearts of female students," and indicates "the extent of attachment to the Great Prophet and follow his path and emulation."

The Hashem Basic Mixed School in Gaza also launched an initiative entitled "The Righteous Remnants" to revive the Prophet's Sunnahs and remind people of them, according to a statement published by the Directorate of Education in eastern Gaza on its Facebook page.

The director of education in eastern Gaza, Munir Abu Zuaiter, said according to the statement: These initiatives "contribute to promoting and instilling positive values in the hearts of students." He pointed out that this initiative is "a voluntary charity that aims to promote the values of social solidarity among students and revive the Sunnah of the Prophet."

The initiative also included, according to the statement, "the distribution of bottles of water and juice to some workers in the directorate and some workers and drivers on the street." He pointed out that "assistance will be provided to needy students in the school," without revealing the nature of this aid.

In turn, the Kindergarten for Childhood Support in the southern Gaza Strip city distributed sweets to the children on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday, while the children of Al-Weam Model Kindergarten (North) conducted a tour of the neighborhoods of the old city of Gaza that extended to the Omari Mosque, and sweets were distributed to worshipers and several merchants and workers. According to what was quoted by Anadolu Agency.

At a time when the Palestinian people are suffering from Arab and Islamic failure, the significance of this celebration is highlighted as an invitation to reflect on what we do as an Islamic nation. Because the Prophet's birthday reminds us that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the Prophet of the entire Ummah, who called for unity and solidarity.

Therefore, the celebration of this day should be an opportunity to embody these values, and to emphasize that we are not just spectators of events, but part of the solution, and we cannot ignore the apparent inaction of some Arab regimes towards the Palestinian cause.

This year's Prophet's birthday celebrations differ from previous years, in that the "Gaza steadfastness" will be present this time, in a step to support the Palestinian cause.

The Arab and Islamic countries commemorate the birth of the Prophet from after sunset on Saturday until sunset tomorrow, Sunday, which corresponds to the 12th of the Hijri month Rabi' al-Awwal, with a variety of activities, and the activities usually include recitations of the Holy Quran, sermons and religious lessons, before concluding with supplications and prayers in mosques, some of which offer various gifts to citizens when leaving them.

It is worth mentioning that the Gaza Strip has been subjected to a war of genocide by the Zionist enemy forces since the seventh of last October, which has so far caused the death and injury of more than 150 thousand Palestinians other than the missing and those under the rubble, amid massive destruction and famine unparalleled in the whole history, and despite all this pain, the people of Gaza did not forget to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
