NEW YORK - Saba: Nothing justifies the collective punishment crimes committed by the Israeli occupier against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, the UN Secretary-General said late on Monday.
This is unimaginable matter, Antonio Guterres told AFP, after suffering, death and destruction in the besieged Strip reached unparalleled levels.
Israel committed wide-ranging violations, he added, renewing the routine call for an immediate ceasefire.
The UN chief criticized the occupier's continuous rejection to a solution including the establishment of a Palestinian State, with illegally crunching more lands, persistent evacuation orders and building new settlements.
