BEIRUT - (Saba): The Ministry of Public Health in the Lebanese caretaker government late on Tuesday denied information circulated and attributed to the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Al-Abyad, that he said the number of martyrs had risen to 11 and the wounded to four thousand, including 400 critical cases.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported in a statement that the ministry denies that Minister Al-Abyad provided this statistical information to any media outlet.
The ministry called for obtaining information from official sources in the ministry, whether from press conferences held by Minister Dr. Al-Abyad or from statements issued by the Public Health Emergency Operations Center.
The Lebanese Minister of Health had previously announced the martyrdom of nine people, including a girl, and the injury of 2,700 others as a result of the cyber aggression that Lebanon was exposed to.
