Save the Children International (SC)warned today, Thursday, that the chances of saving children in Gaza Strip are almost nil, with increasing challenges in providing the necessary care for the injured and newborns, as a result of the ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine Online, in a statement published on its website, the organization considered the current situation in Gaza a direct threat to the lives of children, as they face a severe lack of basic health care in the midst of the ongoing Zionist war.
The organization reported that since October 2023, about five thousand people from Gaza have been evacuated for treatment outside the Strip, however, there are still about ten thousand patients in urgent need of medical evacuation, including newborns who require intensive care.
The ongoing Zionist attacks and siege have destroyed the health infrastructure, leaving 19 out of 36 hospitals out of service.
This situation further complicates health care efforts and increases the risk of children being exposed to serious health issues.
