LATTAKIA - SABA : The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that units of its armed forces shot down several drones belonging to terrorist organizations that attempted to attack army points and safe areas in the countryside of Latakia and Idlib.
The ministry stated in a statement on Thursday, that "units of our armed forces operating in the direction of the countryside of Latakia and Idlib were able to shoot down nine drones belonging to terrorist organizations that attempted to attack our military points and safe civilian villages and towns in the surrounding areas."
Terrorist groups are spread in the countryside of Latakia and Idlib, the majority of which belong to the "Jabhat al-Nusra" organization, which is included in the international terrorism list.
