MOSCOW - (Saba): Russian air defense systems shot down 15 Ukrainian drones over the territory of five Russian provinces overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Sunday.
Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: ‘Over the past night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using drones against targets on Russian territory were thwarted.
‘The air defense systems on duty destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones, including six over the Sea of Azov, four over Rostov province, two over Kursk, and one each in Astrakhan, Belgorod and Voronezh provinces,’ the ministry noted.
