Beirut - Saba: The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor expressed, on Monday evening, its deep concern about the serious crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians in Lebanon, especially in the southern and Bekaa regions.
The Observatory pointed out in a statement that the enemy army launched since Monday morning and until this writing, more than 330 raids in more than 117 towns and cities, directly targeting civilian residential areas in southern Lebanon.
The cyber aggression in Lebanon resulted in a shocking initial toll, with 274 people killed, including 21 children, and more than 1,024 injured, including women, children, and paramedics, as of the afternoon.
The Observatory stressed that the enemy army deliberately targets civilians without giving them enough time to evacuate the areas being bombed or provide them with any effective protection from the dangers resulting from military operations.
The Observatory explained that the Zionist shelling targeted civilian buildings directly and indiscriminately, and the shelling was carried out near hospitals and schools in these areas.
The enemy army issued evacuation orders to the residents of the Bekaa area, giving them a deadline of no more than two hours, while the area of Bekaa is about 4,429 square kilometers.
The Observatory pointed out that many residents need at least three hours to evacuate these areas, while the Zionist enemy army did not specify safe areas to which residents could evacuate.
