MADRID - (Saba): Real Madrid has extended the contract of French defender, Ferland Mendy, for an additional two years until June 30, 2027.
The decision was made by Real Madrid's Italian coach, Carlo Ancelotti, after Mendy was close to leaving for free at the end of the current season.
Mendy, who joined Real Madrid in 2019, has become a defensive pillar and is currently in second place in the Spanish league standings.
