Italy's Sener retains top spot in ATP World Rankings

LONDON - (Saba): Italy's Yannick Sinner retained the top spot in the ATP Men's World Rankings, released on Monday, after widening the points gap with second-placed Alexander Zverev of Germany.

Sinner consolidated his lead with 11180 points, while Zverev's score dropped to 6875 points, with Spain's Carlos Alcaraz in third place with 6690 points, Serb Novak Djokovic in fourth place with 5560 points, Russia's Daniil Medvedev in fifth place with 5475 points, and compatriot Andrey Rublev in sixth place with 4645 points.

There was only one change in the top 20, with American Francis Tiafoe moving up to 15th place at the expense of compatriot Sebastian Korda, after Tiafoe raised his tally to 2560, while Korda's points tally dropped to 2520.

On the women's side, Poland's Ija Szwiontek remains at the top with 10885 points, ahead of Belarus's Arina Sabalenka in second place with 8716 points, American Jessica Pegula in third place with 6220 points, Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina in fourth place with 5871 points, and Italy's Jasmine Paolini in fifth place with 5348 points.

The women's rankings saw only two changes in the top ten, with American Danielle Collins moving up to ninth with 3178 points and Czech Barbora Krajcikova moving up to tenth with 3161 points.

Tunisia's Anas Jabeur moved up one place in the rankings to 21st with 2160 points.

Anas Jabeur announced last week that her season was coming to an end due to a shoulder injury.
