Sana'a - Saba: Today, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, and his deputy, Abdullah Al-Washli, inspected the Sana'a Art Gallery under the Ministry's auspices.

Minister Al-Yafei and his deputy, Al-Washli, received updates on the ongoing efforts to organize several art exhibitions, which are scheduled to coincide with the celebrations of the tenth National Day of the glorious September 21 revolution.

Visitors were introduced to the artworks at the inaugural plastic art exhibition at Sana'a Gallery, which is the first of many planned exhibitions. These works highlight the cultural and tourism sector's losses and damages due to ongoing aggression and siege. They also aim to bolster faith, revolutionary community awareness, and resilience in the face of the open war that the Yemeni people, along with the free peoples of Palestine and Lebanon, are fighting against forces of evil, barbarism, occupation, and global arrogance.

The Minister of Culture, along with the deputy, heard from the managers of the exhibition hall and the artists involved, receiving explanations about the artworks, the exhibition's programs, and their contents. They expressed hope that such quality events, which aim to stimulate cultural, creative, and tourism activities, will garner the attention of stakeholders.

The Art Gallery is situated on the ground floor of the Ministry's building, which showcases traditional architecture. It consists of interconnected rooms, with walls crafted from black stone. The design features crescent and semicircular shapes meticulously interwoven against white backgrounds, reflecting the Yemeni architectural style. This creates a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity in its essence.

Most of the hall is covered with wooden panels to facilitate the installation of exhibitions, in addition to being equipped with distinct lighting that gives the hall a wonderful light effect in harmony with architectural art, and a distinct artistic and creative character that accommodates the establishment of art exhibitions such as exhibitions of plastic drawings, pictures, antiques, sculptures, crafts and others.
