Incense livelihoods program concludes in Hajjah

HAJJAH - SABA : Hajjah Province branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs concluded a livelihoods program in the field of incense and perfumes for IDPs, returnees and the host community.

The 20-day program, implemented by Ewa'a Social Foundation for Relief and Development in partnership with InterSOS, aimed to provide 15 women and girls with the skills of making incense and perfumes.

At the end of the program, Fouad Nassar, representative of the Supreme Council branch, explained the importance of these programs in supporting economic empowerment projects as a national production line, praising the efforts of the foundation , the organization in supporting and implementing these programs.

For his part, Dr. Yahya Al-Qadi, Executive Director of Ewa'a, pointed out the importance of implementing projects that contribute to improving the living conditions of poor , displaced families and the host community.

Raji Mahawsh, the project manager at INTERSOS, confirmed that the organization will continue to implement such programs, appreciating the facilities of the Humanitarian Affairs Council branch for the organization in implementing its projects.
