Beirut – Saba: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced that two of its employees were killed on Tuesday, as a result of Zionist raids on Lebanon.

In a statement, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) expressed its "outrage and deep sadness at the martyrdom of two members of its family in Lebanon."

The UN Commission said in its statement that "Dina Darwish, who worked in the Bekaa office in eastern Lebanon, was killed after the building in which she was staying with her husband and their two children was hit by a Zionist missile strike on Monday."

"Her husband and one of her children were rescued and are undergoing treatment in hospital from serious injuries, while the bodies of Dina and her youngest son were recovered today," the statement said.

The Commission added: "The death of Ali Basma, who worked at the UNHCR office in Tyre, southern Lebanon, has been confirmed.

"UNHCR is outraged by the killing of our colleagues and extends its deepest condolences to their families and loved ones."

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday that the number of martyrs of the Zionist attack on Lebanon rose to 558 martyrs in addition to 1835 injured, in a toll that is likely to rise with the continuation of Zionist raids.
