SANA'A - SABA: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday inaugurated al-Nasr Bridge project, also known as the "Main Water Intersection," in Shu'ub district of Capital Sana'a.
This inauguration coincides with the Yemeni people's celebrations of the Prophet's birthday and the tenth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.
Accompanied by Capital Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad, President al-Mashat reviewed the bridge's specifications, which include a total cost of 4 billion, 962 million, and 650 thousand riyals, a length of 508 meters, and a width of 17.5 meters.
The bridge features pedestrian sidewalks on both sides to connect the two banks of the water.
The President received updates from Engineer Abdulkarim al-Houthi, Undersecretary of the Capital Sana'a for the Works and Projects Sector, regarding the completed works on al-Nasr Bridge, funded by the local authority in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Political Council.
Expressing his satisfaction with the opening of the bridge amid national celebrations, President al-Mashat emphasized the ongoing commitment to change and development.
He stressed the importance of providing services and projects to alleviate citizens' suffering in the face of ongoing aggression and siege.
Al-Mashat urged local authority leaders to enhance efforts in various service and development sectors and to ensure the successful implementation of projects that benefit citizens.
He praised the local authority's leadership in the capital for their efforts in executing essential service and development initiatives.
