JERICHO - SABA: Zionist settlers stormed the Arab Al-Malihat gathering, northwest of Jericho, on Wednesday evening.
Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that a number of armed settlers stormed the Arab Al-Malihat gathering at the end of Al-Ma'rajat Road, accompanied by their sheep, and grazed them on the fodder and property of citizens. They toured the area until they reached the Arab Al-Ka'abneh elementary school in the gathering, where they stopped and next to it, to provoke the residents.
He pointed out that the Bedouin gatherings are subjected to increasing violations by the occupation and settlers, which have reached the point of threatening their lives, stealing their property, and assaulting children and women.
On Wednesday, settlers also set up tents on citizens' lands in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.
Village Council Chairman Marwan Sabah said in an interview that the settlers, in continuation of the bulldozing and land seizure operations in “Jabal al-Ras”, set up tents in the area today, stressing that the villagers have documents proving their ownership of the land.
