Damascus-Saba: Syria views the condemned Zionist aggression against Lebanon and other regional countries as a continuation of the violent and criminal mindset ingrained in this entity, which craves the blood of innocents and shows contempt for international law and humanitarian principles.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today: The Israeli aggression continues on our people in brotherly Lebanon and on the countries of the region, and the Israeli war and killing machine continues to expand the circle of its barbaric aggression to pursue the displaced fleeing its terrorism, to affect their crowds at the border crossings, where it targeted today the Mutrba border crossing with Lebanon, causing many injuries among the displaced who were present at this crossing, just a few hours after the attack on the Lebanese area of Younine, which led to the martyrdom of 23 Syrian refugees, most of them women and children.
The Foreign Ministry added that this condemned and denounced aggression reflects the continuity of the bloody and criminal mentality inherent in the Israeli occupation entity, which thirsts to shed more innocent blood, and has reached the point of targeting displaced persons and refugees seeking safe haven from Israeli terrorism, and confirms once again the occupation entity's disregard for international law, international humanitarian law and human rights instruments.
