New York - (Saba): The United Nations Security Council will discuss the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue, during a formal session on Friday.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that the council had convened two days ago, in an emergency session to discuss the situation in Lebanon, while it met earlier to discuss the same file, which includes the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
World leaders are currently in New York to participate in the high-level deliberations of the 79th session of the General Assembly, and on the sidelines of that session, they are discussing pressing issues, such as the situations in Palestine and Lebanon.
