Beirut - Saba: Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is lying to everyone and retracted his approval of the US-European initiative.
In a statement to the French newspaper "L'Orient Le Jour" on Friday, Berri stressed that "the 21-day ceasefire must take effect in both Lebanon and Gaza."
He also stressed that "the people of the Gaza Strip cannot be abandoned."
