Sana'a - saba : A meeting in Sana'a for poultry producers, chaired by Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources Minister Dr. Radwan Al-Rabaei, discussed the current situation of the broiler chicken sector and the progress of covering the gap in production for the period from next October to March of next year.
The meeting assigned a committee from a number of competent authorities to work on the transition mechanism implementation to sell by weight for live chickens and submit the appropriate mechanism for this and the necessary needs to achieve the sale by weight and determine the fair price.
The meeting also emphasized the committee's role in preparing a comprehensive plan to develop the poultry sector , study the available infrastructure and needs to reach self-sufficiency in local production.
