Islamabad - Saba: Seven people were killed and seven others injured in a helicopter crash due to a technical failure in northwest Pakistan.
A security official in Pakistan said on condition of anonymity according to the Russia Today website that the rented helicopter was transporting employees of an oil company when it crashed in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, explaining that the crash site, Shewa, is located about 200 km southwest of the provincial capital, Peshawar.
He pointed out that there were three foreign citizens on board, a pilot and a crew, without revealing their nationalities and it was not clear whether they were among the dead.
