Tokyo - Saba : Frenchmen Ugo Humbert and Arthur Fils reached the final of the 500-point Tokyo Tennis Championships on Monday after defeating Tomas Machac and Norway's Casper Ruud in straight sets.
Humbert, ranked 19th in the world, defeated Machac in three sets (6-3, 3-6, 6-2) to reach the his career seventh final .
In all six finals he has played so far, Humbert has been victorious, including two this season at the Dubai and Marseille tournaments.
In the second match, World No. 24 Vis, who is ranked 24th in the world, defeated Ruud in two sets (7-6, 7-6).
Fils will be playing the fourth final of a career in which he has already won titles in Lyon last year and Hamburg this year.
