Hodeida - Saba: Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani inspected, on Wednesday, the progress of work in the Public Works Office in Hodeida Governorate.
During the visit, he was briefed on the overall activities and work carried out by the office during the past period and the extent of commitment to regulations and procedures that would improve services and facilitate citizens' transactions.
The Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works listened from the Director of the Office, Eng. Mohammed Muthanna, to an explanation of the work accomplished to develop services and implement projects, as well as what has been implemented and what is being done regarding roads and their rehabilitation due to the damage caused by floods.
He also listened to an explanation about the mechanism for starting to implement the automation system for the procedures for issuing building permits, and the networking between the departments of the Public Works Office and its branches in the directorates, which contributes to enhancing performance.
