Gaza - Saba: A senior official in the Civil Defense Authority in the Gaza Strip revealed that the Zionist enemy launched more than 250 thousand air raids and artillery shelling, using about 90 thousand tons of explosives, including internationally prohibited ammunition, since the outbreak of the war on the Strip on October 7, 2023.
The Director General of the Supply and Equipment Department of the Civil Defense, Muhammad Al-Mughair, said in media statements today, Friday, that among these explosives are about 15 thousand tons of bombs and missiles that did not explode and pose a real threat to the lives of civilians.
He pointed out that more than 90 children have been martyred so far as a result of these dangerous remnants, noting that the Zionist enemy uses prohibited weapons in areas characterized by high population density.
Al-Mughair noted that the use of these internationally banned and prohibited weapons explains the martyrdom of large numbers, and the melting and evaporation of the bodies of thousands of them due to the high heat emitted when the explosion occurs and the transformation of the bodies that fall in the "target eye" into small particles that cannot be seen with the naked eye, flying and melting in the air and soil.
