Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stressed during his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his accompanying delegation that resistance against all forms of occupation, aggression and mass killing is a legitimate right, and it is strong in light of the popular embrace and belief in it.
The Syrian President stressed the strategic relationship between Syria and Iran and the importance of that relationship in confronting the challenges and dangers that threaten the region and its peoples, most notably the continued Israeli occupation of Arab lands. He considered that the Iranian response to the violations and repeated attacks by the Israeli entity on the peoples of the region and the sovereignty of its countries was a strong response, and gave a lesson to this Zionist entity that the axis of resistance is capable of deterring the enemy.
