Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Baghaei has strongly condemned the US and British military attacks on parts of Sana'a, Hodeida and other areas in Yemen.
Tasnim News Agency reported on Sunday that Baghaei described the continuation of the repeated US and British military aggression on Yemen as ‘a clear violation of the UN Charter and the basic principles of international law.’
He emphasized the international responsibility of the attacking parties for these illegal acts that violate the provisions of the UN Charter.
Baqaei considered the Zionist entity's continued occupation, war and expansionism as the main reason for the continued state of insecurity and instability in the region.
He stressed the need to stop the occupying entity's aggression against Lebanon and the genocide in Gaza as a condition for restoring peace and stability in the region.
The actions of the Yemeni people and other Islamic countries in the region in response to the Zionist entity's crimes against Muslims in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria are their natural reaction to the killing of their Palestinian and Lebanese brothers, and it is clear that the illegal use of military force by America and its allies against the conscious Yemeni people will have no effect on their determination to defend the people of Palestine and Lebanon, Baqaei said.
