Fifteen Palestinian citizens were martyred and others were injured late on Saturday when the Zionist army shelled four residential houses in the northern Gaza Strip.
The ‘Palestine Today’ news agency quoted the Civil Defense spokesman, Major Mahmoud Basal, as saying: ‘Crews were able to recover nine martyrs and a number of wounded after the enemy shelled a house belonging to the ‘Al-Arabid’ family in Bir Al-Naja area, west of Jabalia refugee camp.
He added: ‘The crews also recovered the body of a martyr after shelling a house belonging to the Afana family in the same area (Bir al-Najah), in addition to continuing to search for missing persons inside the targeted house.’
In al-Faluja cemetery area, he explained that the crews were able to recover two martyrs after a house belonging to al-Sharafi family was targeted near the cemetery.
In the town of Beit Lahia, the civil defense spokesman indicated that the crews recovered three martyrs and 11 injuries and transferred them to the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip after a shelling that targeted a house belonging to the al-Masri family east of the town.
In turn, Palestinian medical sources said: ‘37 citizens were martyred in Zionist raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip since this morning.’
