Johannesburg - Saba :
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Monday that his country will submit additional evidence in its genocide case against the Zionist entity before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Ramaphosa said in a press statement that this evidence will be delivered to the international court in October, noting that the documents submitted include "detailed information" proving the Zionist entity's involvement in genocide crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.
He called on the Zionist entity to abide by the provisional measures approved by the ICJ in its previous decisions issued in January, March and May 2024, related to the same issue.
On December 29 last year, South Africa submitted a request to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to investigate the Zionist entity's violations of certain provisions of the Genocide Convention.
During the court hearings, it demanded an immediate cessation of Zionist military operations and guaranteed access to humanitarian aid, food and water for the people of Gaza.
