UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti stated that peacekeeping forces would remain in southern Lebanon despite the Zionist recent attacks, resulting in injuries to UN personnel and international concern.
The 50 contributing countries agreed to continue deploying over 10,400 peacekeeping soldiers between the Litani River and the UN-recognized border between Lebanon and Israel, known as the Blue Line.
