For seventh day, enemy besieges Jabalia & 200,000 Palestinians face death
[12/ October/2024]
Gaza - Saba :
About 200,000 Palestinian citizens in the Jabalia area face the risk of death, either as a result of Zionist enemy shelling and direct targeting or hunger and thirst, in light of the ongoing land siege for the seventh consecutive day.

The Civil Defense said today, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, that "the occupation forces are besieging Jabalia for the seventh day in a row, and the residents there have no water, no food and no elements of life."

It added: "The occupation did not allow medical and civil defense crews to supply fuel and medical supplies, which negatively affects the reality of the besieged citizens."

It called on international organizations "to fulfill their humanitarian duty to protect citizens in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip."

On Saturday, the occupation army demanded citizens in the northern Gaza Strip to forcibly evacuate their houses in order to expand its aggression, which began on October 6.

The occupation demanded citizens in an area labeled "D5", namely: Jabalia al-Nuzla in the northern Gaza Strip, up to the northern outskirts of Gaza City, namely the areas of al-Saftawi and parts of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, to evacuate immediately via Salah al-Din Street towards the humanitarian zone - allegedly in the south of the Gaza Strip.

The targeted area also includes the shelters in these areas, where tens of thousands of citizens live, in addition to the thousands who were displaced from Jabaliya refugee camp and the towns of Jabalia, Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun when the Israeli invasion began a week ago.
