The Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals began on Saturday a workshop to assess and develop the skills and capabilities of the Code of Conduct and Work Ethics teams in the Ministry and its affiliated units, as part of the program to implement and apply the contents of the Code in public service units.
The four-day workshop aims to assess and develop the skills of the Code teams in the Ministry , its affiliated units and enhance their capabilities in applying the principles and contents of the Code of Conduct to improve administrative work and performance.
At the opening of the workshop, Oil and Minerals Minister Dr. Abdullah Al Amir praised the efforts exerted by the Code of Conduct teams. He pointed out that the ministry was one of the first entities to accomplish the work related to the code as a result of its qualified cadres in various administrative works and tasks.
Undersecretary of the Civil Service and Administrative Development Ministry, Abdullah Haidar pointed out that the Oil and Minerals Ministry is one of the most important ministries that are counted on to support and serve the national economy, which requires everyone to feel responsible in carrying out tasks to the fullest.
He pointed out the importance of the workshop, which focuses on assessing and developing the capabilities and skills of the Code of Conduct teams, to come up with visions and recommendations to prepare a clear plan of action to serve this important economic sector.
For his part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals Nasser Al-Aji pointed out the importance of the Code of Conduct in improving job performance and overcoming the imbalances that accompany it. He urged all employees of the ministry and its affiliated units to adhere to the code and utilize it to improve performance.
