The Youth and Sports Ministry and Sana'a University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the completion of the closed gymnasium project at the university.
The MoU includes procedural steps to complete work on the gymnasium project, defining roles and responsibilities between the ministry , the university, and including the turfing of the football field within the ministry's plans and programs in light of the available resources , capabilities of the Youth, Youth and Sports Welfare Fund.
The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Youth and Sports - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Youth and Youth Welfare Fund, Dr. Mohammed Ali, and the President of Sana'a University, Dr. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas.
Dr. Abbas praised the directions adopted by Minister Al-Mawlad and his appreciation for the care he gives to the youth that the university embraces.
He also expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the Youth and Youth Welfare Fund to the university during the past years to develop the infrastructure of sports facilities , stadiums, and his aspiration to establish a wide partnership with the ministry related to the development of physical education and sports medicine curricula.
